Manzanita Elementary Offers Spanish-English Dual Immersion for the 2026–27 School Year

VINCENT AREA, Los Angeles County — Parents interested in bilingual education can ask about Manzanita Elementary School’s Spanish-English Dual Immersion program for 2026–27.

The Covina-Valley Unified School District campus at 4131 N. Nora Avenue is a TK–5 dual-immersion magnet school. Its official site advertises arts programming, physical education for younger students, music for fourth and fifth graders, and an after-school program covering transitional kindergarten through fifth grade.

Confirm program eligibility

The school serves families from the surrounding Covina and unincorporated areas, but enrollment depends on district rules, space, transfer arrangements and any specific magnet or language-program criteria. An announcement of a program does not guarantee immediate placement for every applicant.

Families should contact the school at 626-472-7640 to request the current enrollment calendar, language instruction model and required forms before applying.
